Welcome to the Early Childhood Workforce Registry Community

The Registry is here to support North Dakota’s early childhood community with services and resources.  You are part of an essential workforce in North Dakota, contributing to the well-being and development of young children.

Every day in our state, almost 90,000 young children potentially need child care; nearly 75%. That means most families with young children depend on child care to be able to work. Our state economy thrives when parents can go to work, confident their children are safe and well cared for in dependable, quality child care settings.

Quality care does not happen by accident; it is entirely dependent on you and the hundreds of decisions you make every day that impact children’s well-being. Well-prepared teachers and caregivers know how to support early development and learning in ways that lead to positive outcomes for children. Effective teachers and caregivers are also learners themselves, always striving to grow their own skills and knowledge.

At the Registry, we believe it really does take a village to raise healthy, happy children who are ready for school and for life. We all have a role to play in this important work. The Registry is here to support North Dakota’s early childhood community with services and resources.
