Registry membership is about professionalism. As a member, you demonstrate your commitment to the field of early childhood above and beyond minimal licensing requirements.

The Registry is here to support North Dakota’s early childhood community with services and resources. Join thousands of your peers and coworkers as a member of the Registry and get started growing yourself, your career, and your future. 

Who Can Become a Registry Member?

Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in North Dakota and works with children birth to age eight (providing direct or indirect service) in a variety of licensed and regulated early childhood settings:

  • Family and group childcare homes
  • Childcare centers
  • Preschool
  • Head Start and Early Head Start programs
  • Public and private schools-pre-kindergarten to 3rd grade
  • Organizations that provide training and support services to early childhood programs
  • Community agencies serving children and families
  • Private organizations and government agencies that impact early care and education at the local and state level

Benefits of Membership

It’s easy to become a Registry member, and there are many advantages to joining.  Membership benefits include:

  • Access to your complete Learning Record and reports designed specifically for the national CDA Credentialing process
  • The ability to identify your employer and attach yourself to your employer’s organization account
  • Verified professional qualifications to use when looking for employment
  • Career Pathways placement
  • Allows you to apply to become an approved trainer and/or consultant
  • Allows you to participate in the Bright & Early quality rating and improvement system. Registry membership may also be required to participate in some of the support services that are offered by Child Care Aware® of North Dakota.

Join

  • Log in to your account or create a new account.
  • Select “Become a member” and then Apply/Renew on the main profile page
  • Complete your membership profile. Fill out the information and select “Save and Continue” at the end of each section
  • Review and Submit:  On the last page, review your information and select “Submit”
  • You’ll receive emails to remind you to send documents to make your profile as complete and professional as possible.
  • Membership must be renewed every 12 months and trainer accounts must be renewed every 24 months to ensure that your data is always up to date.  You can also update your profile at any time.
