Data and Reports

Data tells a story. For the early childhood workforce, data shows where we’re succeeding and gives us solid information with which to advocate for our field.

Data also helps decision and policy makers develop and implement approaches to ensure that North Dakota’s children are prepared to succeed in school and in life. College and career readiness starts long before children get to school—it begins in the first years of life. By ensuring that verifiable data is accessible and coordinated, the Growing Futures Registry promotes data-driven decision-making to improve the quality of early childhood programs and the preparation of the workforce.

Registry data can help to answer several critical questions, including:

  • How prepared is the early care and education workforce to provide effective care education and care for all children?
  • What policies and investments lead to a skilled and stable early care and education workforce?
