Organizations
Organizations play an important role in the early childhood field and include licensed child care programs, associations, and training sponsors. The Growing Futures Registry is designed to support organizations with organization accounts that help track employees, prepare for license renewal, and manage approved training.
For Licensed Programs
ND DHS provides the Registry with a list of currently licensed and regulated child care programs in the state. Licensed programs can easily find and claim their record from the list and create an organization account. When individual employees indicate that they work for the program, the program director and licensers can easily review employee training records right from the program’s organization account.
With an organization account, the program can also capture and track details about their program including the name and number of classrooms, staff assigned to classrooms, the number and ages of children in each classroom, consultation visits, and much more.
For Training Organizations
Create an organization account and ask to be approved as a training organization if your organization sponsors training for the early childhood workforce. You must have an active organization account before you can submit requests for training approval.
For Child Care Associations
Child Care Associations typically offer training as a benefit of membership. As with other training organizations, an association must have an organization account before training approval requests can be submitted. The Growing Futures Registry also supports associations with an online directory of the many local, state, and national associations operating in North Dakota to help associations market their organization to potential members.
An organization account requires that a contact person be designated for the organization. This person will have access to reports about staff and the program. The contact person is the account manager, and will receive email communication about the account.

Child Care Programs
A Growing Futures organization account lets supervisors and directors see information about each of their employees, including which staff have met the licensing requirements and achieved Career Pathways placement. Programs that deliver in-service training for staff can request to be designated as a training organization as well.

Training Organizations
A Growing Futures organization account allows training providers and association to submit training for approval, schedule events that will appear on the statewide online training calendar, accept registration, and manage approved events from registration through award of clock hours.
