Who Needs an Organization Account

Organization accounts can be thought of as business accounts. Unlike an individual account, an organization account allows multiple people to access and manage the account information. Organizations are important for the following types of businesses:

DHS Licensed Programs

If your business is a licensed child care program in North Dakota, your organization account is associated with your DHS license number. It allows you to access the Facility Staff Report, which lets you see and print training records for your employees to simplify re-licensing. For all DHS licensed programs, an organization account is required for participation in Bright & Early ND. Family and Group license holders will need both an individual member account and an organization account.

Non-Direct Care Organization

Organizations that provide support services to children, families, and the early childhood workforce are part of the state’s early childhood system. The Registry collects and reports Information about services and consultants to inform policy and funding for the field.

Training Organizations

An organization account is required if you or your business wishes to provide approved training to the early childhood workforce. A organization account allows training sponsors to submit training for approval, schedule training that will appear on the Training Calendar, accept registration, and manage approved events from registration through award of clock hours.

Creating an organization account is simple and free. With your account, you’ll be able to quickly track your employees’ training and easily provide information to your licenser at renewal time. You will also be ready to participate in the state quality rating and improvement program, Bright & Early. Organization accounts are for licensed direct-care programs as well as Pre-K, after school programs, early childhood service providers, training organizations, Tribal entities, and others involved in the field of early care and education.
